To determine whether improvements are being made, there is a need to benchmark the current performance of production systems in the region, using the triple bottom line basis, and to monitor changes over time at paddock, farm and landscape scales.
This project intends to develop a benchmarking, monitoring and evaluation framework and tools for project staff to use to assist in measuring impact terms of triple bottom line.
It will develop activity evaluations and implement benchmarking and monitoring tools at a whole farm and whole project level. This process will ensure evaluation and benchmarking is an on-going, continuous and transparent process that provides all stakeholders with the opportunity to publicly scrutinise project outcomes and learnings.
This project is supported by the Queensland Department of Primary Industries & Fisheries, Queensland Murray Darling Committee Inc, Queensland Natural Resources, Mines and Water, CSIRO Sustainable Ecosystems, University of Queensland, Landmark, B&W Rural supplies and local farmers.
