The strength of the Grain & Graze program lies in its regional approach to practical research and the direct involvement of farmers and farming groups.

The program's 57 regional projects and trials cover a broad range of farm sizes, rainfall, soil types and enterprise mixes. Grain & Graze works across nine regions in five states:
